Puakō is a single road running parallel to the water, lined with a mix of original beach houses and substantial rebuilds. The reef in front of the community is exceptional, and for a lot of owners the daily swim is the whole reason they are here.
It is an unpretentious place. Golf carts, bare feet, and neighbors who have known each other for decades. Once you learn the oceanfront pathways, Mauna Lani and Hapuna are within walking distance.
Oceanfront and ocean access parcels trade differently here, and the distinction matters both for lifestyle and for value. Worth understanding clearly before you make an offer.
